Indian Railway Recruitment 2019 for Apprentice total posts 2590

Indian Railways has eighteen zones.North East Frontier Railway, with headquarters in Maligaon, Guwahati, is one of them.

NFR Railways has published notification for recruitment to 2,590 vacancies under the apprentices act.Notification and application form both are available. Last date to apply is October 31, 2019.

Class 10th pass candidates with 50% in aggregate, with ITI in relevant trade can apply for this new railway recruitment 2019, or more specifically, for engagement of apprentices.

Vacancies in North East Frontier Railway are divided among the units, or the divisions and workshops. Whereas the total vacancies are 2,590, unit wise vacancies are as follows.

There are 437 vacancies in Alipurduar (APDJ), 328 in Rangia (RNY), 1004 in Lumding (LMG). Then there are 331 vacancies in Tinsukia (TSK), 156 and 185 in NewBongaigaon workshop (NBQS) and EWS/BNGN. Dibrugarh workshop has 149 vacancies. Applicants need to submit their forms against one unit only.

How to apply for NFR apprentices recruitment 2019?

Application form is available with the notification.

To download the notification and form, go to nfr.indianrailways.gov.in. Click on general info in the menu. In the dropdown, select departments, then personnel, and then click on act apprentice notification.

On the next page, click “NOTIFICATION No. NF/ACT APPRENTICES/01/2019 (Shortfall of 2018)” link. Download and print it, and fill the form.

Fill all details in the application form, and also use the call letter on A4 size sheet, in own handwriting, with a ball pen. Send with a self addressed envelope of size 11inches by 5 inches, with postal stamp of Rs 5. Processing fee of Rs 100 needs to be paid via crossed postal order, or account payee demand draft. SC, ST, PH, women candidates are exempt from fee.

Two recent passport size photographs signed by applicant are also required. The documents need to be sent by registered post or can be dropped in the box prescribed. All instructions pertaining to form submission should be followed, as given in the notification. Certificates, and other documents should also be submitted as instructed.

What will be the selection process?

Railways will select candidates on the basis of merit. Merit will be trade wise, on the percentage of marks in matriculation. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.

If candidates have same marks then the candidate with older age is preferred. In case, date of birth is also same then candidate who passed matriculation earlier is preferred. Candidates finally enlisted has to go through original document verification and being found well in medical examination.

List of selected candidates, or the Railway Recruitment result will be announced at nfr.indianrailways.gov.in.

Minimum age limit for this railway recruitment is 15 years and maximum is 24 years of age as on 18.09.2019. SC and ST candidates are provided relaxation upto 5 years and 3 years in case of OBC candidates. 10 years of age relaxation is provided to person with disability.

The final decision related to eligibility, acceptance or rejection is made by  North-East Frontier railways. After selection, there will not be any change in Division or unit. Stipend will be paid as admissible as per existing instructions. Minimum stipend allowed is Rs. 6960/-. No allowance on travelling or daily or conveyance is given to the candidate. Make sure that you submit application before the last date of application date.

Step 5: Read instructions, download the application form
Step 6: Fill the form, upload images and submit along with relevant documents

Candidates will not have to appear for any exam but will be selected based on their educational qualification, as per the notification.
