The IBPS PO examination this year would take place in two parts:

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has invited applicants to apply for IBPS PO CWE V examinations that are going to take place in the month of October, 2015.Candidates who are gearing up for getting into banking industry need to go through the prelims and mains examination conducted by the body and get through to the various listed nationalized banks under IBPS. The prelims examination is expected to be easier than that of the mains examination and would contain two less papers. The Mains examination would consist of English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge papers containing a total of 200 marks. The 200 objective questions needs to get answered in 2 hours’ time and there are negative markings on each wrong evaluation in the part of the candidates.
Quantitative Aptitude is quite a tricky paper among all the other papers in the examination.It needs regular attention of the candidate while they are preparing.Once you get through with the basics of the paper it becomes a lot easier to crack it on time. While solving questions in this paper, the time becomes a major factor and thus managing it efficiently becomes very important. There needs to be planned way of progressing in this paper if the candidates are eyeing for the mains examination.

Hence, it would be advisable to get the mathematical wheels rolling and get back to the basics of it real well.
