The Indian Navy has released an official notification inviting applications for unmarried male candidates as sailors for its Matric Recruitment (MR). Interested candidates can apply from November 23 on the official website-joinindiannavy.gov.in. The total number of vacant posts is 400 and the candidates can apply online till November 28, 2019.

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the computer-based exam, followed by a physical fitness test and medical examinations. The computer-based exam will consist of 50 objective type questions and will comprise of two sections – science and mathematics and general knowledge. The duration of the exam will be 30 minutes.

Candidates will have to pay the application fee of Rs 215. Candidates belonging to SC/ST category are exempted from paying any fee.

Indian Navy MR recruitment 2019: Salary
During the initial training period, a stipend of Rs 14,600 per month will be admissible. On the successful completion of initial training, they will get a monthly salary of Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100. Additionally, they will be paid Rs 5200 per month plus DA will also be paid.
